The questions ask opinions about the preferred Progressive Conservative (PC) leader and other political issues within the country and abroad. There are also questions on other topics of interest and importance to the country and government, such as the quality of education, alcohol and conscription.

The respondents were also asked questions so that they could be grouped according to geographic and social variables. Topics of interest include: the amount of influence the U.S.S.R. (Russia) has on the world; confidence in the United States' ability to solve world problems; the cost of education; electing a new leader of the Progressive Conservative (PC) party; favouring conscription for females; favouring conscription for males; making an effort to buy from PetroCan; the minimum amount of income a family needs; the most important task for labour unions; preferred Progressive Conservative (PC) leader; the quality of education; selling PetroCan to the private sector; and using alcoholic beverages.
