The dictyopterine net-winged beetle genus Punicealis Kazantsev, 1990 is re-described and reviewed. The external female genitalia of four of its six species are studied for the first time. Colour photographs of the habitus of all Punicealis species and details of their morphology, including photos of the male and female copulatory organs, are presented.
An identification key to all Punicealis species is provided.
