I created this file from SYSTAT file = ARS.SYS, which I created on 24 Aug 1989 I used this file for my first book, so I assume everything was checked TWO TIMES at creation Note on 24 Aug 1989 says "File = ARS has been checked two times." This file only includes data from BTPD males that were known to have copulated at least once per year. I have EXCLUDED I have EXCLUDED BTPD males with 0 cops, even if they survived for >=2 years.

In this file sex = 1 = male, and sex = 2 = female All other labels should be obvious. Mean juvenile body mass = single mean body mass for all offspring in litter Age = number of years since first emergence from natal nursery burrow Sexual partners = number of different individuals of opposite sex with whom BTPD copulated Litters sired = number of litters for which female weaned or male sired at least one offspring Note here: For litters with multiple paternity (>=2 sires per litter), both siring males were scored for this EXCEL file.
