Differences in oceanographic conditions encountered by little auks (Alle alle) between the west coast of Spitsbergen and the east coast of Greenland

A ship-based survey was used to quantify local oceanographic conditions within the foraging range of Little Auks from Kap H�egh, east Greenland (2005) and at the Hornsund study site (2005-2006) (project of Pomona College and Institute of Oceanography, Poland).

Moreover, zooplankton availability associated with the different oceanographic conditions was estimated.
