Urgensi Pengelolaan Kawasan Pesisir Teluk Ambon Ditinjau Dari Aspek Sumberdaya Meroplankton

The research objective is to examine the management of the coastal areas of Ambon Bay in terms of aspects meroplankton. The research was conducted during 6 months (May-July 2007 and May-July 2008) using primary and secondary data. Primary data include of meroplankton and water quality data.

Secondary data includes the data of sedimentation, area of mangrove forest, fishery resources. Sampling of meroplankton was used by NORPAC nets vertically at 17 stations. Research results showed that composition of meroplankton are 13 species.

The highest abundance of meroplankton is occurred in the inner of Ambon Bay. Sedimentation has occurred in Ambon Bay. Sedimentation in Ambon Bay potentially influencing the composition and abundance of meroplankton, and need to be manage. </p> <p>Seminar Nasional Pengelolaan Sumberdaya Alam dan Lingkungan “Optimasi Pengelolaan Sumberdaya Alam dan Lingkungan dalam Mewujudkan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan”.
