The children's war: towards peace in Sierra Leone - a field report assessing the protection and assistance needs of Sierra Leonean children and adolescents

Based on a three week visit to Sierra Leone and Guinea, this report investigates why children (ages 0-17) have become key figures in the civil war, and explores the problems the war has caused for them.
Description
The report concentrates particularly on 'bush camp' children, adolescent girls claimed by a variety of captors, and young boys working in mining camps. Includes recommendations.
