Listed in ScienceDB

The lacquerwares excavated from the Lianying Han tombs in Yangzhou, a region historically renowned as a center of ancient Chinese lacquerware production, were investigated to elucidate their manufacturing practices using multi-analytical methods.

Description

Four samples, derived from lacquerware fragments unearthed from the Western Han Lianying tombs, were investigated in this paper. This dataset contains all the data obtained from FT-IR, TGA-DTG, and XRD analyses of the samples.

These results substantially enhanced the understanding of the lacquering crafts in the Western Han Dynasty, and would serve as a valuable resource for relevant research and conservation efforts.
