Active Layer ARCSS grid Barrow, Alaska 2010

Active Layer measurements were taken on a 30 plot subset within the ARCSS Grid in Barrow, Alaska.

Description

Each measurement was taken on the north eastern most corner of each plot. The chosen subset was located from D2-D7 and H2-H7.

The SEL lab's long depth probe was used (orange tape on the handle). Data have been corrected by subtracting 3 cm from measurements made in the field to account for the missing tip of the probe.
