Wellbeing Multi-Instrument Comparison (W-MIC) Study Dataset

The project was developed in order to address a methodological gap in economic evaluations (EE), as the most common preference-weighted outcome measures used in EE focus mainly on health. This poses challenges when the intervention's scope goes beyond health, as in the case of non-curative care settings.

Multiple wellbeing instruments have been developed to expand their evaluation’s scope, however selecting one for economic evaluation is still challenging. A large, cross-sectional survey was conducted in the Netherlands and US to collect data from multiple health and wellbeing instruments. A follow-up survey was also conducted two weeks and three months after completing the main survey.
