The stomach is shown within the upper body to highlight its physiological context, while the glowing patterns illustrate its bioelectrical behaviour. The red-orange network symbolises abnormal or disorganised gastric slow wave activity, which can disrupt normal stomach function.

In contrast, the smoother blue region represents more coordinated propagation and the goal of restoring an organised electrical rhythm. The electrodes attached to the stomach represent the recording and stimulation approach used in my research to detect abnormal activity and investigate how targeted pacing may help restore normal wave propagation. The surrounding orange and blue pathways emphasise the broader concept of bioelectrical communication and feedback.
