Seasonal Spring Flora and Fauna Monitoring Campaign in Cuenca Marina Austral- 1 on-shore Tierra del Fuego, Argentina Total Austral

The information in this dataset was collected during several campaigns made by the biodiversity consultant "BIOSUM", which is in charge of the biodiversity assessment in the Cuenca Marina Austral-1 on shore (CMA-1 on-shore) The campaigns were developed in the frame of the preparation of a Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP) for the area. A BAP is a mandatory document each Total Austral´s operational site has to prepare. It compiles conservation actions that then must be implemented in the area.

In order to be able to define these conservation actions, a first step is to collect high-quality scientific data of the area to analyze its current biodiversity status. Therefore, a seasonal flora and fauna spring monitoring campaign was conducted to this end.
