Monthly Reports of Vietnamese Regional and Popular Forces

There are two types of TFES records, unit records and district records. Each TFES unit record contains geographic and unit identifiers; record of basic, refresher, and Motivation Indoctrination Program training; unit priority rating; a count of weapons, vehicles, and other resources allocated, issued, and operational; and administrative information on the number of soldiers supported, married, paid, deserted, inducted, and authorized.

TFES also includes information on the type of mission, mission performance, leader's performance and attitudes, unit's planning, preparation, and use of information, and the unit's interaction with the local populace. Each district record in TFES contains geographic and unit identifiers; number and type(s) of military operation(s); friendly killed, wounded, or missing in action, deserted and weapons lost; and enemy killed in action, captured, and returned.
