Factors Related to the Effectiveness of Internship in Teacher Education in Taiwan

During this two year study, internship-teachers that graduated from National Central University were be taken part in the case study ; the population of the second year\'s study were 3839 teachers who took part in internship at secondary schools in the academic year of 1999. A stratified random selection procedure was used in the sampling plan of the study.

The sample size were 765. The questionnaires was developed by observation , face-to-face interview , and teachers\' reflection during a whole year., a pilot test was used to improve the reliability of the questionnaire. According to the results of the analysis of this study , the researcher identify some important factors that influence effectiveness of internship teachers at secondary schools in Taiwan.
