The study investigates the function of the nphp4 gene in the testes of medaka fish (Oryzias latipes)

Listed in NCBI GEO

In this study, we employed CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing to generate nphp4 knockout medaka fish.

Description

By comparing the transcriptomic profiles of the testes from wild-type (WT) and nphp4-/- mutants, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of gene expression to elucidate the role of the nphp4 gene in medaka testis development and function.
