EDIA – Global Bird Monitoring Program of the Alqueva Dam (EFMA) Secondary Irrigation Network, Irrigation block C – Collared Pratincole (Glareola pratincola), diurnal point counts [2021]

The dataset contains records of Little Bustard (Tetrax tetrax) collected in the block C of the Secundary Irrigation Network of the Alqueva Dam (irrigation blocks of Baleizão-Quintos, Beringel-Beja, Cinco Reis, Ermida, Ervidel, Roxo-Sado and São Pedro-Baleizão) and in a control zone, performed within the General Bird Monitoring Plan of the area, promoted by EDIA, S.A. Data were collected in the spring of 2021. A total of 444 sampling points (373 in the block and 71 in the control area) was surveyed during this period, providing 131 contacts of the target species.
