Collection of observations gathered at sub-block level using L1 and L2 norm and SSIM

The distortion scores for was gathered during intra and inter coding. L1 norm distortion metric assessment was Sum of Absolute Difference (SAD) and Sum of Absolute Transform Difference (SATD) While L2 norm distortion metric assessment was Sum of Squared Errors (SSE).

Each of these existing assessments were compared with Structural Similarity (SSIM). Please see reference/paper for more details Please note that the initial assessment was based upon a single video sequence of Foreman with both L1 and L2 norm assessement.
