Black Soil Granary Whole-Region Customized Model Development and Demonstration Application Dataset

Listed in ScienceDB

Description

Comprehensively applying the fundamental theories of geography, agronomy, environmental science, systems theory, and other disciplines, this study explores the intrinsic interconnections among these fields in the agricultural domain, and proposes a holistic customization model for the "Black Soil Granary" that systematically addresses the sustainable agricultural development issues in Northeast China, thereby providing a theoretical basis for decision-making on black soil conservation technologies in the region.

It analyzes the spatiotemporal differentiation patterns of black soil degradation in Northeast China, classifies and grades degradation levels, quantitatively identifies the dominant controlling factors of degradation across different scales and degradation-type areas, and offers a diagnostic assessment of black soil degradation in Northeast China. Through literature review, it systematically compiles black soil conservation technologies, clarifies the technical parameters and applicable conditions of each technology, and constructs a knowledge graph of black soil conservation technologies.

Guided by the "Third Law of Geography"—geographic similarity—and based on the degradation classification and grading of Northeast black soils and the knowledge graph of conservation technologies, this study conducts research on intelligent algorithmic decision-making for technology selection, provides tailored black soil conservation technical solutions for degraded areas, and selects representative degraded zones for field validation.

Leveraging the holistic customization model and integrated application platform for the Black Soil Granary, it carries out demonstration applications of optimized varieties, technologies, and models. It also conducts innovation and breeding of low-input, stress-resistant, high-yield crop germplasm resources and their extension; develops and demonstrates tillage techniques and models for different straw-returning methods in maize and rice; researches and demonstrates integrated pest, disease, and weed management and fertilizer reduction and efficiency enhancement for maize and rice straw return; innovates and demonstrates cropping models for optimal tillage and suitable planting, as well as coverage-based erosion-prevention planting on black soils; demonstrates integrated crop-supporting cultivation models for black soil conservation and fertility maintenance; and undertakes validation and demonstration of research outcomes from parallel projects.

By adopting rational technical pathways and scientifically effective methodologies, this study aims to achieve substantial breakthroughs in key technologies and the upgrading of integrated technologies, promote the implementation of core technologies for black soil protection, utilization, and health management, realize the conservation of black soil farmland, reduction of resource consumption, and improvement of farmland quality, safeguard national food security, agricultural product quality safety, and agro-ecological environmental security, and facilitate the sustainable agricultural development of the black soil region.
