EDIA – Global Bird Monitoring Program of the Alqueva Dam (EFMA) Secondary Irrigation Network, block B: Little Bustard (Tetrax tetrax) - transects in the post-reproductive and wintering periods [2019-2020]

The dataset contains records of Little Bustard (Tetrax tetrax) the block B of the Secondary Irrigation Network of the Alqueva Dam (irrigation blocks of Alfundão, Ferreira-Valbom, Loureiro-Alvito, Monte Novo, Pedrógão, Pisão, São Matias and Vale de Gaio) and in a control zone, performed within the General Bird Monitoring Plan of the area, promoted by EDIA, S.A. Data were collected in the summer and winter of 2016-2020.

An ad-hoc number of road transects was performed to detect the target species using the 500 km road net of the study area. A total of 63 contacts with the target species was obtained.
