Records of vascular plants from the surroundings of the village of Stavyshche (Zhytomyr District, Zhytomyr Region, Ukraine)

The research aimed to find valuable areas for the establishment of new protected areas. The expedition revealed several well-preserved bogs with regionally rare plant species Carex pilosa and Equisetum hyemale, as well as a habitat from Resolution 4 of the Bern Convention - thickets of large sedges, mostly without stagnant water.

We also carried out a flora inventory. In total, we compiled 13 floristic lists using the Vegapp app, which formed the basis of this dataset during 1 field trip in 2025. This dataset contains 381 occurrences of 201 species (vascular plants) recorded in 13 releves or vegetation surveys during the project.
