Listed in ScienceDB

The Keda Torus eXperiment (KTX) is a new medium-sized reversed-field pinch device designed and implemented jointly by the University of Science and Technology of China and the Institute of Plasma Physics at the Chinese Academy of Science.

Description

An important component of the KTX project is a central control system that is composed of six modules: 1) central console; 2) process control system; 3) central timing system; 4) safety and interlock system; 5) gas injection system; and 6) shot information server.

The network and optical fiber infrastructures also provide great support for the stable operation of the experiment. This paper will describe the details about the system architecture and networks deployment.
