ChromoDB: chromosome counts database for vascular plants

ChromoDB is a curated database of chromosome counts for vascular plants compiled from published scientific literature.
Description
The dataset provides taxon names, accepted names when available, chromosome numbers expressed as n and/or 2n, geographic origin of the studied material when reported, bibliographic sources, and links to the corresponding ChromoDB records. This first GBIF release includes a selected subset of non-problematic records that have undergone taxonomic and bibliographic review.
Additional information, updates, and extended contextual data are maintained in the ChromoDB web portal.
