Macrophyte species occurrences in floodplain water bodies of the Dnipro-Orilskyi Nature Reserve, Ukraine (2024)

The data were obtained through standardized field surveys across 16 aquatic habitats representing a range of hydrological conditions and successional stages. For each sampling site, the presence and relative abundance of vascular aquatic and semi-aquatic plant species were recorded using a semi-quantitative scale (1–5).

Geographic coordinates were recorded using handheld GPS devices. This dataset contributes to long-term biodiversity monitoring of freshwater vegetation in protected floodplain ecosystems and provides a basis for assessing ecological changes driven by river regulation and climatic impacts.
