Description
This policy briefing, the first in the series, addresses the question of 'Environmentally displaced people'.The Briefing makes key policy recommendations to 'strengthen the knowledgebase and understanding' and 'to foster institutional reform, enhance policy responses and harmonise competences' stressing the need for collaboration between donors, national governments, UN organisations (principally UNHCR, UNEP, UNDP, IOM), the World Bank, and INGOs to develop policies.
