K-Band Galaxy Counts
Listed in IVOA Registry (Virtual Observatory)
We present new counts of field galaxies from more than 20 arcmin^2 to a limiting magnitude of K = 20 and from 2 arcmin^2 to K = 21.5.
Description
At the faintest magnitudes, the counts are slightly higher than those reported previously, though still consistent given the small numbers of galaxies in the two samples.
