Face-To-Face Communication Dataset

Here, we deposited a dataset collected in a psychological experiment focusing on the role of prediction and interpersonal synchronization in face-to-face communication.
Description
Speech (to estimate coordination in prosody and speech characteristics), gaze direction (to assess gaze coordination), pupil size (to assess pupil size coordination), and head motion (to calculate head motion coordination) were recorded simultaneously from two participants, while they solved a communicative task (bargaining game) designed to elicit naturalistic conversation similar to everyday situations.
Speech was recorded with stage microphones (HSE-150/SK) attached to IMG Stageline EMA-1 adapters and sampled by ESI Maya22 audio interfaces at 44100 Hz. Pupil size and gaze position were recorded with the Pupil Core eye tracker. The sampling rate was 60 Hz for the world camera, and 120 Hz for the eye camera.

For motion capture, an inertial motion capture system was used (Perception Neuron 32). The dataset contains only the signals recorded with the sensor on the head. The sampling rate was 120 Hz.
