LIT Thermosphere Control of Ion Outflow Results

Numerical simulation experiments were conducted for different thermospheric states to study the stream interaction region that swept past Earth on March 27, 2003.
Description
Results from two LIT (Low-energy Ion Transport) coupled model runs are archived in 768 netCDF files. They contain the global outputs from the LFM magnetosphere, IPWM (Ionosphere Polar Wind Model) ionosphere, NCAR Thermosphere-Ionosphere Electrodynamics General Circulation Model (TIEGCM) thermosphere-ionosphere simulations.
