PROBEX Haenam High Resolution Radiosonde Data
Listed in National Center for Atmospheric Research
This is one of the upper air data sets developed for the THORPEX Pacific Asian Regional Campaign (T-PARC).
Description
It includes 165 high vertical resolution (2-second) radiosonde soundings from the Haenam, South Korea (WMO 47261) Korean Meteorological Administration (KMA) station released as part of the Predictability and Observation Experiment (PROBEX). The soundings were typically released four times per day (00, 06, 12, and 18 UTC) from 25 August to 4 October 2008.
NCAR/EOL converted these soundings to the EOL Sounding Composite (ESC) columnar ASCII format and conducted a series of quality control checks.
