The BeeCON project: climate data associated to Apis dorsata nesting sites monitored in Belitung Island, Indonesia (2024-10-09 to 2026-01-28)

This dataset contains continuous temperature and humidity measurements collected on Belitung Island, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Indonesia, acquired as part of the BeeCON project.
Description
The monitoring network consists of 32 active sites distributed across three villages (Kembiri, Tanjung Rusa and Perpat). Measurements were recorded by sensors capturing air temperature (°C) and relative humidity (%) at a fixed interval of 20 minutes.
The dataset spans from 26 July 2024 to 16 February 2026, providing a long-term record of local environmental conditions across the monitoring network. Each record contains the following fields: observation_datetime (timestamp of the measurement), site_name (monitoring site identifier), village (village the site belongs to), latitude and longitude (location coordinates snapped to a 500-meter grid centroid), temperature_c (air temperature in degrees Celsius) and humidity_pct (relative humidity in percent).

The dataset was extracted from the BeeCON project relational database and processed through a quality-control workflow including data validation, deduplication, outlier filtering, and temporal gap detection prior to publication.
