Aedes aegypti Egg Image Data Set

This dataset, generated through a collaboration between the Mosqlimate group and the Fundação Oswaldo Cruz Entomology Laboratory, aims to address the pressing need for improved methods to monitor and control Aedes aegypti populations, which are vectors for diseases such as dengue, Zika, and chikungunya.

We believe that this dataset will serve as a foundational resource for researchers in entomology, epidemiology, computer science, and public health, facilitating advancements in automated surveillance and control strategies.
