GIS spatial overlay data sets of forest fruit resources in Hotan area of Xinjiang in 2014, 2019 and 2024

Forest fruit industry has emerged as a pillar of the local economy, and data on forest fruit resources serve as the foundation for scientific understanding and planning for the industry's development. In this study, GIS spatial overlay was used to describe the data sets of forest and fruit resources in 2014,2019 and 2024, and to find out the current situation of forest and fruit resources in Hotan area.

This dataset consists of four types of data : forest fruit resource data, pest and disease data, elevation data and planting management data, including vector (.shp ), grid (.tif ) and table (.xlsx ) formats, with a total of 3.03 GB. The data quality passed the three-level closed-loop quality control system of ' investigation-processing-inspection ', and was verified by spatial data accuracy ( area deviation ≤ 3 %, accuracy ≥ 95 % ), attribute data logic inspection ( field integrity rate ≥ 98 %, numerical rationality rate ≥ 95 % ) and field sampling review ( accuracy ≥ 90 % ) to ensure the reliability of the data.
