A selection of herbarium specimens from the Modern general herbarium of the University of Catania (Herbarium Universitatis Catinensis), one of the most important botanical collection in Southern Italy, as first outcome of the ITINERIS Project training course held in Palermo in June 2024. More than 125.000 additional specimens from several CAT sub-collections, mostly from CAT-HGM, have been digitized during the past years, are currently accessible through the Catania botanical garden website (ortobotanicocatania.it/erbari/) and are aimed to be uploaded on GBIF too, as soon as possible.
