Description
This report presents a detailed description of the rawinsonde data obtained at Palmyra, Fanning, and Christmas Islands (all low coral atolls), and from the USC&GSS Surveyor. Volume I contains a discussion of the data reduction techniques used, a listing of other formats in which the upper air data are available, and the actual thermodynamic data from over 800 soundings taken during LIE.
Volume 2 contains the upper level wind data from over 800 soundings taken during LIE.
