Analysis of gene expression changes in mouse cochlear glia cells after noise exposure

Listed in NCBI GEO

To analyze transcriptomic changes in glia in response to noise, a mouse line was created that allowed flow cytometric isolation of glia based on Plp1-driven expression of the tdTomato reporter.

Description

Glia isolates were prepared from noise-exposed and control Plp1/tdTomato young adult mice (1.5-2.5 months), and bulk RNAseq analysis was performed to identify genes that were significantly affected in response to noise.
