Data and R code supplement to "What’s scale got to do with it? Models for urban tree canopy"

This fileset accompanies this paper: (CITATION) The files set contains the single level Census Block Group shapefile (1.3 MB), the two-level *.dbf file (~145 MB), the R script (as an *.rtf) used for the paper, and the resulting zipped *.R file (1.03GB zipped, 1.15GB) created by that script.
Description
The two-level polygons are not provided to keep the file size manageable. The script contains the field names and their descriptions, see also Table 1 in the paper.
The script will automatically download the data needed to recreate the analyses presented in the paper, but the *.R can be downloaded directly to avoid the running the whole script, which can take up to 12 hours because of the really complex models.
