The dataset includes all occurrences of living organisms documented in Micheli's travelogues, as retrieved from manuscripts no. 26 and 27 (held in the Science Library at the University of Florence; 1704–1736) and three published reports by Giovanni Targioni Tozzetti (1751–1754).
Description
The dataset covers 15 different journeys, primarily in Tuscany, between 1704 and 1735.
