Discoverability of published objects

Listed in Borealis

Many products of medical education scholarship have difficulty in being published through traditional, standard journals.

Description

These still fit within the METRICS framework that describes scholarly activities.(1) Just as is seen in standard research outputs, such as replication studies, trials with negative results, in the increasingly competitive world of scholastic publishing where citation indexes and impact factor matter greatly, it is now hard to get studies published that do not fit within a positivist research model, demonstrating significant results.

This report reflects our explorations and testing of various approaches to making our scholarly products and learning objects more discoverable.
