These rates are expressed as µg C or N g algae⁻¹ h⁻¹.</p><p dir="ltr">The <code>Algal Stoichiometry</code> sheet contains algal elemental composition: carbon and nitrogen as percentages of algal dry mass (%C and %N), and the mass-based C:N ratio.</p><p dir="ltr">The <code>Grazer Assimilation</code> sheet contains caddisfly carbon assimilation and fixed-nitrogen assimilation, expressed as µg C or N mg grazer⁻¹ day⁻¹. <code>Temperature.2</code> records mean water temperature in °C. Entries marked <code>Not Evaluated</code> indicate that fixed-nitrogen assimilation was not measured for that sample.</p><p dir="ltr">The accompanying R script reproduces the Figure 2 analyses, including one-way ANOVAs, Tukey-adjusted pairwise comparisons, compact-letter summaries, bootstrap estimates, and figure output.
