This thesis explores the relationship between Irish America and the Northern Irish civil rights movement from the mid-1960s to 1971.
Description
Using oral history interviews, government documents, newspapers, personal correspondence, and published material from groups in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the United States, this study examines the Irish American response to the civil rights movement over time.<br><br><i>Thesis is embargoed until 31 July 2028.</i>
