Vlak hierna werd hij opgepakt. De geïnterviewde vertelt over zijn ervaringen in verschillende krijgsgevangenkampen.
Hij vertelt over de situatie bij de Birma-spoorlijn, waaraan hij moest werken. De geïnterviewde ontsnapte meerdere keren aan de dood. Hij vertelt over de bevrijding.

Uiteindelijk kiest de geïnterviewde ervoor om de Nederlandse nationaliteit aan te nemen. 1050.2 De geïnterviewde vertelt over de bevrijding uit het kamp. De geïnterviewde werd overgebracht naar een trainingskamp. Hij beschrijft de training en vertelt hoe radicaal de brigade te werk gaat.
