Naïo Orio autonomous robot evaluation for weed management data in carrots and table beets in the Holland Marsh, Ontario, 2024 and 2025
Listed in Borealis
This submission includes four CSV datasets supporting Chapter 2 of an MSc thesis evaluating the performance of the Naïo Orio autonomous robot for vegetable weed management.
Description
(1) 2024 carrot yield grading and marketability metrics comparing robot vs tractor across soil types. (2) 2024 table beet yield grading and marketability metrics comparing robot vs tractor across soil types.
(3) 2024 weed assessment dataset with quadrat-level weed density, biomass, vegetative cover, and weed species counts across crops, sampling dates, soils, and weed control systems. (4) 2025 observational carrot trial assessing robot-banded herbicide application settings with pre/post weed metrics, crop injury, and yield/marketability variables. Together, the files enable analysis of weed suppression and crop yield outcomes under autonomous vs conventional management.
