Description
The dataset contains records of the Eurasian Stone Curlew (Burhinus oedicnemus) and other nocturnal species collected in the block B of the Secundary Irreigation Network of the Alqueva Dam (irrigation blocks of Alfundão and Ferreira-Valbom and a control zone), performed within the General Bird Monitoring Plan of the area, promoted by EDIA, S.A. Data were collected in the spring of 2019, in 10 census points (five of the diurnal census program and five newly established.
A total of 82 records of nocturnal species were obtaines, of which 35 were of Eurasian Stone Curlew.
