Retraction: The authors of the AIDS Cases in Miami-Dade County, 1993 to 2011, dx.doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.834938 data set, Dr Evelio Velis and Dr Graham Shaw, would like to retract this data set from the figshare repository. The authors have been informed that the data provided by the Florida Department of Health were incomplete. The authors have also requested the retraction of the associated research article [Velis E, Shaw GP.

The authors apologise for this case of honest error. The authors are now examining the complete data set and will republish their findings when their analysis is completed.
