To supplement biodiversity data for the genus Mitjaevia (Cicadellidae: Typhlocybinae: Erythroneurini) in China, this study is based on a holotype specimen collected from Dongshan Park, Duyun City, Guizhou Province, China. Through external morphological observation and genitalia dissection, a new species, Mitjaevia duyunensis Jiao, Yuan, Li & Song, sp. nov., is described and illustrated.
