Tidal predictions and modelled surge forecasts for the next 3 days are generated for a series of locations around the Irish coast.
Description
The tide predictions are generated from tide gauge harmonics calculated for the gauges in the Irish National Tide Gauge Network (INTGN) (tide_prediction_source=1) or from the FES 2014 global tidal model (tide_prediction_source=2). The datum for the tide predictions is OD_Malin for INTGN predictions and 0 MSL for the FES2014 predictions.
The modelled surge forecasts are extracted from the NE_Atlantic operational model.
