Transcriptomic profiling of RAS/BRAF wild-type colorectal cancer cells in response to cetuximab treatment

Two CRC cell lines (Caco-2 and SW48), confirmed as KRAS/NRAS/BRAF WT by ARMS-PCR, were treated with cetuximab or vehicle control. Total RNA was extracted and subjected to bulk RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq) to identify differentially expressed genes and affected signaling pathways following cetuximab treatment.

Through Reactome, KEGG, and GO enrichment analyses of differentially expressed genes, we revealed the regulatory effects of cetuximab on metabolic pathways, particularly glycolysis, and on the expression of genes encoding multiple glycolytic enzymes. This dataset provides a valuable transcriptomic resource for understanding the molecular response mechanisms of cetuximab in wild-type CRC cells.
