The resource contains 99,478 unrestricted records for 71 submitted taxa. Records include observation dates, observer or survey locations, counts where supplied, UK Species Inventory Taxon Version Keys and a minimum coordinate uncertainty of 100 m.

Records subject to the separate 10 km restriction are excluded. The resource focuses on bird presence and abundance recorded during field surveys across the included Woodland Trust sites. To document bird presence and abundance in support of woodland conservation, ecological monitoring, assessment and site management.
