SEAGA intermediate level handbook

As noted on its leaflet, SEAGA's goal is to '[t]o incorporate socio-economic and gender considerations into development projects, programmes and policies in order to ensure that all development efforts address the needs and priorities of men and women.' The Intermediate Level Handbook targets development planners serving as intermediaries between government policy makers at the macro level and households or individuals at the field and community level.

It also provides tools for development planners to assess their own institutions. Contents include: Ideas behind the SEAGA approach; The 'context' in which organisations function; Assessing your organisation; Additional tools for assessing your organisation; Strategic planning process for an organisation; Additional tools for planning; A monitoring, evaluation and reporting systems approach; and Indicators for monitoring and evaluation.
