A magnetite–clinopyroxene vanadium oxybarometer for reconstructing magmatic redox conditions in plutonic rocks

This dataset accompanies the study “A magnetite–clinopyroxene vanadium oxybarometer for reconstructing magmatic redox conditions in plutonic rocks.” It contains the experimental calibration datasets, natural-sample geochemical data, and source code used to develop, validate, and apply the vanadium-based oxybarometers presented in the study. “Supplementary Data S1–S3.xlsx” contains the compiled experimental datasets used for calibration of the clinopyroxene–melt, magnetite–melt, and magnetite–clinopyroxene V-partitioning models, together with the corresponding experimental conditions, phase compositions, and original literature sources. “Supplementary Data S4.xlsx” contains the natural-sample datasets used for independent validation and application of the oxybarometers, including newly generated geochemical data from natural samples as well as data compiled from published studies where applicable. “Supplementary code.zip” contains the source code used for data processing, machine-learning model training, validation, interpretation, and prediction.

These files provide the data and computational resources required to reproduce the principal calibrations, validation tests, and natural-sample applications reported in the associated manuscript.
