Theory Construction and Empirical Study of Self-regulated Learning of College Students

The purpose of this research was to verify the goodness of fit between empirically observed data of college students and the self-regulated learning model .

Description

The participants were 240 freshmen from eight universities in Taiwan .The instruments used in this study included:The multiple goals scale、The learning motivation scale、The learning strategy scale、The approach behavior scale and The avoid behavior scale. The results of this study were as follow:Although the value of chi-square was significant at .05 level,other overall and internal structure model fit indexed that the self-regulated learning model fitted the observed data well.
