Employer Information Report Files

The agency created these files from reports from private employers on employment / membership profiles. This series contains the workforce profile data for private employers.

Each record includes the employer name, address, geographic codes (state, county, Standard Metropolitan Statistical Area, and ZIP code), Standard Ind ustrial Classification code, and parent company identifiers. Records also contain counts (i.e. employment statistics) of the total number of employees, white collar workers, and on-the-job trainees by sex and minority group category (Black, Asian, Native American, Spanish Surname) in each of nine job categories (managerial, professional, technical, sales, clerical, craft, operative, unskilled, and service).
